Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Christopher Keyes (sole trader), the operator of IELTS Topics Master. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

IELTS Topics Master provides IELTS Writing and Speaking practice tools, including AI-generated feedback, model answers, vocabulary support, progress tracking, and teacher grading features.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Break any law or regulation.
  • Commit fraud, spam, phishing, or impersonation.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Interfere with the security, availability, or performance of the service, including malware, scraping, or probing.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute access to the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, tax, subscription management, cancellations, and refunds.

By starting a paid subscription or free trial, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Payment details are required to start a trial; the selected plan begins automatically at the end of the 7-day trial unless cancelled.

Intellectual property

All content, software, branding, and materials provided by IELTS Topics Master remain the property of Christopher Keyes. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal or classroom use within your selected plan.

Service level

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. AI-generated feedback and band estimates are for guidance only and do not represent official IELTS scores.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel your subscription at any time through Paddle.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Christopher Keyes is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Christopher Keyes is based, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
